The Top 10 Ads of 2009

Every commercial is a product of its culture, but it's hard to imagine a culture or demographic this one doesn't speak to. Anybody who's not moved by babies is still a sucker for "Rapper's Delight," or at least for effectively used urban parkland. The oddness of the ad, which went viral on YouTube, is a net plus for a company that's marketing something as unmemorable and indistinguishable from its rivals as water. Of course, it's all very implausible: as everyone knows, real infants prefer in-line skates. http://bit.ly/4unfVT
