iPhone Flashcard App Extends Traditional Services

drew | July 12th, 2009

Local architecture firm, SHP Leading Design, announced last week that they have launched a new series of iPhone applications that assist people in preparation for US Green Building Council tests.  The first is for the new LEED Green Associate exam.  You can check out the application here (AppStore link).  This series of applications is helping SHP extend educational opportunities within their industry and helps position them as a leader in sustainable design.

SHP’s new offering is a great example of a brand using smart phone applications to extend existing core service offerings.

I think this is really a neat idea. People love their iPhone apps. They certainly get a lot of attention. This idea will make studying for the Green Associate exam a little bit more fun. This way, you could study on the go…if you wanted to! It’s only a matter of time until the LEED AP+ Specialty iPhone app comes out, right? Thanks!
