Web Video Taking Cable’s Place

MillerCoors Tests a Draft-Beer Box for the Fridge – WSJ.com

MillerCoors LLC has begun testing the sale of $20 draft-beer systems for consumers to drink at home, part of a string of new products and package innovation from beer giants grappling for market share in a crowded, slow-growing industry. The Home Draft systems are meant to be placed upright in a refrigerator, which will keep the beer fresh for about 30 days. The price per ounce is roughly 15% higher than for an 18-pack of the same beer, MillerCoors said. http://tr.im/uCLN

Tappening Starts a Campaign of Wry Lies Against Bottled Water

Taking a cue from antitobacco campaigns, Tappening, a group opposed to bottled water on environmental grounds, has introduced a campaign called “Lying in Advertising,” that positions bottled water companies as spreading corporate untruths.

One poster claims “Bottled Water Causes Blindness in Puppies,” while another reads “Bottled Water: 98% Melted Ice Caps. 2% Polar Bear Tears.” http://tr.im/uCIX

“If bottled water companies can lie, we can too,” the posters read.
